1. Excessive oil secretion: When the sebaceous glands are overactive and produce too much oil, these oils will clog the pores, causing closed comedones (comedones enclosed in skin) to form quietly.
2. Accumulation of old dead skin cells: Inadequate cleaning will cause the stratum corneum to become thicker and thicker, getting stuck in the hair follicles, making the skin surface feel rough and grainy.
